Re: #4 Chatham vs #5 St.Thomas playoff thread
This game was a wake-up call for Chatham. Dampier was excellent in net, especially in the first few minutes of the game as Chatham was all over the Stars and could have easily been up a couple themselves. Again in the second Chatham was guilty of turning their back on the play a few times....missed ...

Re: Maroon meltdown?
Not sure about Valentini and Henderson being moved as yet. Valentini looked pretty good when he played up with the Knights who are going to need these players when the World junior's gets underway at Christmas. The Knights could use them as trade bait before the trade deadline if they want players r...

Re: London and Chatham
IMO Chatham played fairly well in the first period, but ran out of steam after that, not much energy to be seen. I realize that they lost a man during the game but did that necessitate changing every line and juggling all the lines every change. As for the coaching I hear more and more comments abou...

Re: Thoughts on Chatham
Might as well add my thoughts to this topic, as a fan of both the Maroons and Knights. Patterson wasn.t just competing for a goal tending position but for an over-age spot as well. Unlike Jr.B the OHL can only carry three over-age players and with players like Mermis, the Rupert twins, Welychka also...

Re: Respect!!!
Just thought I'd comment on the revenge theory being offered. If you are seeking revenge it is usually against someone you perceive as having done something against you. If the St. Marys player has only played for the Lincs during the exhibition season it wasn't Annett who hurt him, they never playe...

Re: The rules
Excellent commentary R.G. I imagine a lot of thought and research went into it. Nice to see that any questions I had on the calls were explained in detail. Hopefully everyone will adjust quickly and the refs can go back to calling the games as they play out. I have noticed a lot of "non-calls&q...

Re: Maroons rumor
Another defense would be great but then who do you cut? If the rumor is true it would have to be a forward as only 6 defense are listed on the roster.

Re: Morgan & Davis of Maroons Suspensions
I was at the game but at the opposite end of the arena so I didn't have a bird's eye view of the occurrence. It appeared to me that a Leamington player hit Verboom into the boards. It looked to me like the head was involved or at the very least charging by the Leamington player. The usual melee ensu...

Re: Bowen
I think the answer may be in the fact that all penalties occurred at the same time. The rule book is as clear as mud as usual. There is mention that the penalties must be "cumulative" which I don't think is the case here. Bowen's game was over with the M71 and M21 which are both non-suspen...
