2023-2024 Season

Post by RocketGirl »

Season starts in 2 days, does anyone have any predicitons they want to make?

This is what I've put together, but not sure I'm sold on the top 4 slots yet.

1. St. Marys
2. London
3. Strathroy
4. LaSalle
5. Chatham
6. St. Thomas
7. Komoka
8. Sarnia

Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.

Looks odd not seeing Leamington...I like the coaching of St Mary's and what they're building, London will probably be good also...somebody is hoping for a Strathroy resurgent, good coach so maybe...we'll see about Komoka, I'm disappointed I thought they'd be better after moving there.

Big test for Strathroy tomorrow in London, I hope the Rockets have a good game, the league could use a competitive London-Strathroy rivalry.

I see there is more outside the conference games being played this week, not a bad idea...it would be a better idea if the games were more competitive, the Nationals play the 1-27 Caledon team.

I didn't do too bad in my predictions. Both 1 & 2 and 7 & 8 are flipped.

I’m impressed you got Strathroy right and wasn’t just blowing smoke.

Honestly, I started at the bottom and worked my way up. I got to 4 and had limited choices. I kept flipping LaSalle and Strathroy before settling on where I did. I'm a little disappointed that I gave credit to Komoka to not be 8th. I knew that London and St. Marys would be at the top, the Nats always find a way to be there.

We'll see what happens in play-offs. Strathroy struggled with St. Thomas this season, but still took 4 out of 6 games. If they defeat the Stars and make it to Round 2, it will be the first time since the 2013 play-offs.
