London- April 1

Post by ICE Chips »

This London Nationals clown show never stops, rumor is apparently they can not get ice for APRIL 1st home game, so they have gone into ST>THOMAS STARS territory and will play their home game at ST. Thomas Memorial Arena, never contacted St. Thomas Ownership for permission, They are advertising the game, DID the GOJHL Commissioner approve this move, did the Mayor and Council approve this game if so they should be ashamed, support your local Team that has been in the city for years, not some BOUNTY boy's team, another class act by the London Nationals

That is wrong...The London-Leamington game was postponed from earlier in the season and they can’t get the ice at Western Fair to play the makeup game... St Thomas usually has home games on Friday but on that Friday they are in St Mary’s so they gave the ice to the Nationals to play the game...St Thomas was in agreement and so was the league.

Based on the schedule online though, the game is to be played at the old rink in St. Thomas, not the Stars rink. Which is odd.

you are correct, game is from the postponed game, but you are totally wrong game is at Memorial and ST. Thomas never was asked or gave permission,

If it's at Memorial, the Stars don't play there, so why would they need permission?
Queen of the GOJHL

Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.

I’m sure it’s in the league constitution that if they have to play a game outside their home building they have to run it by the league for approval or rubber stamped...as far as St Thomas goes they were contacted as a courtesy of a team coming into the city, they’re not going to object why would they...

They knew about it and could have raised a stink but why would they...
