Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.

Winner: Ethan Skinner - ElmiraILuvHackey wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2016 8:09 am Most Likely to Lead Midwest in Scoring
1. Adam Kawalec (Kitchener)
2. Connor Cole (Kitchener)
3. Jake Brown (Elmira)
Who would have thought Skinner would come back after only one game in BC?
Of the three predictions, Brown was close.
Winner: Jordan Oshowy - CambridgeILuvHackey wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2016 8:09 am Best Dman in Midwest
1. Brandon Scanlin (Brantford)
2. Anthony Kotsovos (Stratford)
3. Nick King (Waterloo)
Surprised to see a Winterhawk win this award. Oshowy was the most dynamic D in the Midwest by far and was our best player against Waterloo in the playoffs. Great final season for a last minute signing by Cambridge.
Of the other predictions, King left for the OHL mid-season, Kotsovos and Scanlin both never really took that next step.
Winner: Brock Baier - ListowelILuvHackey wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2016 8:09 am Midwest Rookie of the Year Candidates
1. Ryan Nicholson (Stratford)
2. Holden Wale (Cambridge)
3. Blair Butchart (Elmira)
Straight up dominant season for Listowel's goalie who got to cap it off with a Mem Cup win in Windsor. Nicholson and Wale were both real good rookies this year, Butchart ended up back in C. Other guys who were in the rookie conversation included Hoelscher (Elmira), Kersten (Waterloo).
