Re: St Thomas
This is another great acquisition for St Thomas. With the earlier additions of Henderson and Vallentini this will put the Stars in a strong position to compete for the Western Conference title. They certainly are setting the bar very high. London has made some nice pick ups as well from Caledonia as well. St. Thomas seems to be becoming the destination of choice for the London players that the Nats can't find room for.

Re: St Thomas
If st thomas plans staying where there at in the standings they will need to play better then last night. The flyers dominated them in every part of the game. Lambton shores played a much better game against leamington compared to the stars.

Re: St Thomas
There was a lot of talk around Leamington on Thursday that there is a very good chance that Valentini and/or Henderson will not finish the season with the Stars.
Re: St Thomas
It appears that both Ryan Valentini and Eric Henderson are only in St. Thomas for "tune-ups." Last night both players exhibited reasons why they will no be lingering very long in St. Thomas long. I am positive that the Stars and coach Darren Kelly accept that fact and will make adjustments when and if the time comes that these two players move on. For now though the extra ice time is a bonus, and both continue to practice with the London Knights more than they do with the Stars. The Stars offense will need more than these two if they are to remain contenders.

Re: St Thomas
Most likely the reason Henderson was sent to St Thomas to he can continue to practice with the Knights. His heart is definatley not into playing for the Stars.

Re: St Thomas
With Valentini traded and the unlikely return of Henderson the proactive Stars have added forward Lucas Mastroianni and defenceman Matt McPherson to solidify some holes in the line-up.
OFFICIAL: Stars have signed two new players this week.
We would like to welcome forward Lucas Mastroianni from the Dorchester Dolphins. In 27GP this season Lucas has 20 goals and 18 assists (38 points).
Also, we would like to welcome defenceman Matt McPherson who played the first half of the season with the London Nationals! We believe Matt will be a strong addition to our defensive core as we continue through the second half of the season!
