Don't think for a second that I don't know what's going on.

This has nothing to do with us "getting along". I follow her twitter feed, so I read this prior to you posting. Since you got all smug when I made the claim RocketGirl posted it prior to you, I thought I would post the proof.

As for her not having much good to say about me? Get in line. :)

From my understanding there are a few names in the hat for the head coach job, but I don't know who exactly. With camp opening in under 3 months, I imagine the head coach will be announced shortly though.

You may want to watch 105.7 MyFM this week for the announcement on the new coaches that have been hired.

And it's announced earlier than I expected, but here are your 2015-16 Strathroy Rockets coaches. Brendan Riggin as Head Coach and Mike Herman and Jason Furlong as Assistant Coaches.

Does it really matter? How much experience did Kelly Thomson have, and look what he's done with the Nats.

I think it's a good thing. Get the young guys in there, some new blood, new ideas, and not just cycling through the same coaches.

Riggin has a good hockey background, and has worked under a highly respected hockey coach.

I have to go with RocketGirl on this one. I don't like retreads. Don't like recycling someone's old coach. I'd prefer to start with new faces, new ideas and give them an opportunity to develop too. The atmosphere will certainly be different in Rocketland this year. New president. New board members. New GM. New head coach. Two new assistant coaches. I like it.

A lot of new faces on the ice with 7 significant players aging out as well. It will be interesting to se how they rebuild on the ice. From what I understand beyond 16 year olds their prospect camp wasn't very well attended. Now that all of the new pieces are in place we will have to see if they go with a youthful team and stay patient, or try to find some veteran players to win this year.

Nice, you ask a simple question, that is all...The response is right on the defensive for no reason. Typical, eh flyers.

Do the 2 of you have nothing better to do with your lives than rip apart anything and everything I have to say? It's kind of getting old. You hate me and I'm not fans of yours. Deal with it. Get over it. And move on.

Had nothing to do with you RG, was just a simple question about the New Rockets bench boss. No need to get moody about it

While I agree with 7 new players aging out will have an impact on this yrs team, I think the returning players and the new ones will still come together and produce a middle of the pack team at least. We lose a lot of scoring but i think the remaining players from last yr will produce more than people think. With the added ice time compared to last yr, these (3rd-4th) guys will have good yrs. We will see what they really have in them
