Leamington comes back to edge St.Thomas in OT

Post by Port hockey1 »

The Leamington Flyers came back to edge the St.Thomas Stars 4-3 in OT last night. Trailing 2-1 heading into the third period, the Stars scored an early goal to take a 3-1 lead.

The Flyers responded with two straight goals minutes apart to tie the game. Daurte ended the game with the OT winner.

The Stars seem to play the top teams close as of late. Just not enough power to rack up wins.

Polasek is a huge addition for the stars, made some highlight reel saves, also valentini looked real good. Gutty comeback tho for the Flyers, probably the most exciting game ive seen this season so far.
End of a era in Leamington
