The Guelph Hurricanes will be sporting special pink armbands during their game on January 14 against the Cambridge Winterhawks.
The Hurricanes with the help of Habitat for Humanity will be putting on a fund-raiser for Cancer Awareness during Thursday nights match up.
The opening line up for the Hurricanes will be wearing pink Jerseys in honour of this special night. An estimated two to three thousand people are expected to pack the Sleeman Centre for the game.
Dropping the puck for the ceremonial face off will be Ray Scampinello and Hockey Canada Hero Paul Henderson. Paul will also be signing the pink jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game. All proceeds from this event will go to the Habitat for Humanity Cancer Awareness Group.
The first 200 fans to arrive wearing pink will be seated in a special VIP area.
Arrive early as you won't want to miss out on this exciting eveinging of fun.
