I read that the League has changed some on-ice rules this season. They include hybrid icing, which I'm not 100% what that means, 4 on 4 for coincidental penalties, puck out of play in end zone regardless of who caused it faceoff stays inside, after icing and penalties non offending team can choose which side faceoff is on.
Basically, they've changed the rules to align with the OHL.
