Lockport beats Welland again?
Lockport has back to back wins, 2 wins away from 6th place in the Shoe! Welland's Alex Vendette faced a whopping 66 shots only to be awarded the loss? Welland sounding like the Buffalo of not so long ago?

How does a kid score at the 1 second mark of the 2nd o/t period ?
Re: Lockport beats Welland again?
Time is not right I do not think. They had Welland tieing it with :45 left when they tied it with :03 left but it looks like they fixed that

Re: Lockport beats Welland again?
Welland is becoming the new version of the former Buffalo Regals. 16 players from last year refused to come back for this season and now there are 5 or 6 current players asking to be traded. Somebody said a few months back that Welland does not charge a fee to their players. Thats not hard to believe. Who in their right mind would pay anything to play for a team that has nothing to offer and have been on a down hill slide over the past few years. Maybe its time for the current owner to sell his franchise and let someone with hockey knowledge take over.

Players pay the same thing to play in Welland as they would if they played for St.Catharines, Leamington, Waterloo, etc...
The play here at no cost just before the beginning of the year was a ploy of desperation from Welland ownership that had 1 player returning. What he says goes, lots of raised eye browse from the poor people there that devote their free time to helping him out. Just a matter of time until that all crumbles! Unfortunate because Its a great old, very well kept up by the city rink to watch/play game in!
