On the 20 year olds. I think St Catharines had to trade Broomhead and Chiarot to many 20 year olds.
But I think there one over. Davis, MacArthur and Busby never played in the GO.
So they should cost two cards each. That's 6 cards on 3 players. Now add the 4 other 20 year old's that's 10.
One over max.. May be one of these players play in the GO but I found nothing.
Caledonia have 8 20 year olds. Barwell never played in the GO so he cost 2 20 year old cards.
But Burns and Bzowey have played in the GO so they only cost 1 card.
So Caledonia is at 9 20 year old cards the max.
Still a lot of the top players are 20 year olds and they get most of the ice time.
But I do like the parity in the GO this year. The problem I have has the other teams improve ?
Or have Calendonia, St Catharines and N. F. have fallen back to the pack.

You are confused on the rule. It's only 2 cards if they were on a CHL card as of Jan 11 and had not played in the GOJHL previously. Busby has never played in the OHL, or QMJHL. MacArthur and Davies cost 2 cards each and the rest are 1.
On Caledonia, Barwell is the only one that's cost 2,
everyone else is 1.

Thanks RocketGirl
Wasn't sure how it all works
So Caledonia and St Catharines are both at maxs 9 cards
It will be interesting at the trade dead line.
Both teamS always make changes and Caledonia likes picking up 20 year olds from the OHL

What will be interesting is to see how many of their 35 cards have been used.

Terrible article. Caledonia was not loaded with 20 year olds, every year during their cup winning streak. It was one season. But this is what I expect from one of the worst writers covering the GOJHL. lol
