ojhl transaction list
hi guys i am new on here. quick question, on the ojhl transaction list. why are players that go from the gojhl to the ojhl added to the team. but players that go the other way are assigned to the (jr.b) team. which is incorrect i believe.

It's a way of saving face for the OJ. Want to look like the team made the decision to send them down, rather than losing them.Red blacks wrote:hi guys i am new on here. quick question, on the ojhl transaction list. why are players that go from the gojhl to the ojhl added to the team. but players that go the other way are assigned to the (jr.b) team. which is incorrect i believe.

It's because they're technically higher than we are, so it's the same as when a kid gets sent down from the OHL, they are reassigned, or a kid goes to Jr. C, they're reassigned.
