Niagara JR-C

Post by Caledonia Fan »

Grimsby and Dundas are 3 games to 1 for Grimsby after beating Dundas 2-1 last night.
Can't see Dundas beating Grimsby 3 straight.

http://www.hamiltonnews.com/sports-stor ... o-grimsby/

Glanbrook and Hagersville are 3 games to 2 games after Hagersville big win in Glanbrook Wed.
So a big game this Sat for Hagersville. Hagersville were down 3 games to 1 now it's 3 to 2.
But to win the next two? Caledonia also plays Sat in Ancaster so I don't know want will happen.
Caledonia is short players and Hagersville is affiliate with Caledonia.

ps i like this idea of a Jr-c Forum

Glanbrook has a good team. If they face Grimsby in the finals, they have a chance at winning the series

Your right this league is wide open anyone can win. Big game tonight for Hagersville. Sunday for Dundas. I hope both teams win and they go 7 games each. Great game for Dundas winning in Grimsby.

I got to go with the big upset tonight. Hagersville as won two games already in Glanbrook.
Davis Brown didn't play much in the third last night I hope he's good to go.
But it's the play of Tierney and Green that as taking this team to a differ level.

No big upset tonight. Glanbrook showed Hagsville why they were number one this year.
Glanbrook dominated Hagersville all night to a easv 8-2 win.

Good news for Dundas fans to force a game seven. Beating Grimsby 3 -1 tonight

Jeremy Currie beat Andrew Albano in a great goaltender duel tonight.
To give a 1-0 win for Grimsby

Grimsby plays Glanbrook in final

Grimsby has won 4 out 6 against Glanbrook
It might come down to goaltending
Glanbrook in 6 games

I think the Peach Kings have won the Niagara East for about 14 seasons in a row now. Once again the snake bitten Dundas Blues could not get the job done. C'mon Rangers. Time someone else represented the Niagara District.

I'm a Grimsby fan, but if anyone else is going to win the league, I wish it would be Niagara... Always liked them. :)

Grimsby was down 3-1 and came back to tie it and take it to overtime.
Grimsby scored the winner in O/T to take a one game lead in the series.
I still think this is going to be a long series.

I must admit that one of the benefits of watching Grimsby go deep in the playoffs every year is it gave me the opportunity to see some of the other great Junior C teams such as Alliston Hornets, Essex 73's, Belle River Canadiens, Uxbridge Bruins and the Lakefield Chiefs in the semi's or finals as well as some epic battles with Norwich Merchants and Simcoe Storm just to advance from the Niagara league. I am only about ten minutes from Grimsby so I spent a great deal of time at the Peach King Centre and even won the 50-50 draw once.

Grimsby wins game three 4-0 and takes a 2-1 series lead. Lost a key defensemen to a cross-checking major, hopefully no suspension...

Grimsby takes commanding 3-1 series lead

What a hockey game tonight! Down 3-2 Grimsby tied the game with around 3 minutes left in the 3rd period. They won on a power play goal midway through OT.

Go Grimsby!!! 8) :smt038

Glanbrook pulls out a win at home 4-1 last night to stay alive.
Grimsby still leads 3-2
Brandon Kolaski might be facing a suspension for abuse of a official late in the game.

So here we are once again. I see that the Peach Kings managed to prevail to the championship round. Ho hum.......... The time for another team to step up and end this nonsense is long overdue.
