Tyler Duarte scored the only goal of the first period on Leamingtons first shot of the game at the 4:34 mark. Patterson would settle in and blank them for the rest of the game. Ian Faubert tied it up at 5:34 of the second, while GOJHL points leader Brennen Feasey gave the Maroons the lead just over a minute later.
Steven Beenackers gave the Maroons some breathing room with a goal at the 18:13 mark of the third period. Chatham outshot Leamington in all 3 periods & 45-35 overall.
