Rank:
1.Caledonia 22-2-1(Shoe) .900 winning percentage.
2.Elmira 20-4-1(Mid-West) .820 winning percentage.
3.Welland 19-5-1(Shoe) .780 winning percentage.
4.Waterloo 18-6-2(MidWest) .731 winning percentage.
Honorable mention: Kitchener 19-6-2(MidWest)
A bit about Caledonia: Top forward: Matthew Hore GP: 25.. 14-20-34 pts.
Top D'man: Austin McEneny GP: 25.. 4-13-17 pts.
Best goalie: Brendan Polasek 12-1-0.. 3 shutouts 1.40 GAA .923 SV%
Corvairs have been the best team in the league despite leading all teams in penalty minutes. Nobody can skate with them, and I mean nobody.
A bit about Elmira: Top forward: Mitch Klie GP: 25.. 9-27-36 pts.
Top D'man: Mac Clutsam GP: 24.. 7-20-27 pts.
Best goalie: Jonathan Reinhart 14-4-0.. 2 shutouts 2.50 GAA .923 SV%
Elmira has been one of the top teams in the Mid-West all season.
A bit about Welland: Top forward: Jack Fitzgerald GP: 25.. 13-12-25 pts.
Top D'man: Josh Allan GP: 25.. 5-12-17 pts.
Best goalie: Chris Janzen 14-4-0 .. 5 shutouts 2.02 GAA .937 SV%
Welland has one of the best coached teams in the league. They've only taken 431 minutes in penalties and they have arguably the best goalie in the league. They work relentlessly for 60 minutes and are a pain to play.
A bit about Waterloo: Top forward: Christian Mroczkowski GP: 25.. 21-21-42 pts.
Top D'man: Eric Cimino GP: 24.. 4-15-19 pts.
Best goalie: Evgeny Kiselev 12-6-1-1.. 2 shutouts 2.58 GAA .907 SV%.
They feature two of the best forwards in the league & have a great goalie. Should be a legit contender.

So who are your Western Cup contenders?

I did this to showcase the top talent in the other divisions. I figure we all know who's got the best shot over here. I'd say Leamington has the best shot. Strathroy is no joke either.RocketGirl wrote:So who are your Western Cup contenders?

I think Leamington, Sarnia, Chatham even with all the issues the Maroons still have lots of talent never can be counted out, Strathroy is scary and could be the upset team, Lasalle has kind of fallen out of the talk atleast right now.
End of a era in Leamington

Strathroy kind of reminds me of Leamington but not as deep. Everyone contributes with goals. That Griffin kid is something else.
