GOJHL Blog
I've finally been able to make a little headway with the teams, not a lot, but a little, and the profile feature is now back. It's now going to be weekly.
To start things off is Sarnia Legionnaire Superstar Davis Boyer.

Thank you for posting this profile!
A great look into a great player.
I am sure there are lots more good things to come for Davis Boyer and the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Re: GOJHL Blog
If you haven't noticed, anything from the blog, I'm just posting it here, rather than making a new topic each time.
This season, I had a personal goal of making it onto the radio. I was the 2nd intermission guest with Chris Soares of 105.7 MyFM on Oct. 24 when the Rockets were in St. Thomas. I've received the audio file from Chris for my interview, which has been posted on the blog. I hope you enjoy. And I'm hoping to make it on another couple radio stations this season. *hint hint*

Well if you let Bob in Sarnia know when you are coming, he might be able to put a bug in the ears of the announcers. Granted it has to be a night when the Legionnaires are on the radio -- which means the Sting not playing that night. I also have access to one of the guys who does the commentary for the Legionnaires so once you get the OK from Bob, let me know and I can do a follow up.

Do you really think I haven't talked to Bob already? I just have to make it to Sarnia, which is a little difficult for me on Thursdays.

Re: GOJHL Blog
Well I asked LaSalle on Sat. for 2 kids to talk to, I was told sure, we'll let you know, and then didn't hear anything more.
If the teams want to help me with it, they will, if they don't, they won't. I'm not going to hound them about it, I've already emailed them all back in Sept. asking for profiles. But I may just have to go behind their backs and get some done.
Now what I'd like is to get more from the Mid-West and some from the Shoe. It is the GOJHL blog after all, and so far it's primarily been about the West.

Obviously the West is the best. We're not the ones trying to leave.
I'm just trying to cover more of the league, and get the other 2 interested and involved, but since the Shoe wants out of the GOJHL, perhaps I should just ignore them and focus on the Mid-West.

Re: GOJHL Blog
This week's profile is a bit different. It's with Andrew Masters of Sarnia, but I'd done the interview at the All-Star game when he was still with St. Marys. I liked what he had to say about St. Marys and Merlin, so I didn't bother to re-interview him to get his thoughts on Sarnia and Rosey.
