To all readers on this forum: please read this article from this highly articulate and insightful young man and hockey player. For anyone who has ever played the game, for those outstanding individuals who contribute their time in so many ways; for any player, parent, sibling, or family member of a hockey player making the often difficult transition from junior hockey, it will move you. When the league speaks of "development", this young man and others like him should be recognized as the true examples of what the league is attempting to achieve.
