Stratford Sets New Records

Post by RocketGirl »

With their 12 0 win over Brampton last night, the Cullitons set 2 new play-off records.

In the 3rd period, Hayden Broomhead scored 2 goals and Drew Gross scored 1 in 22 seconds, which replaced the previous record of 3 goals by different players at 45 seconds.

Also, defenceman Josh Millar set a record for most assists in 1 period, with 4 in the 3rd. The previous was 3.

Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.

9-1 win today. Stratford is looking like the favorite from the Mid-West more and more with each passing game. They have a well rounded team, and arguably the best goalie in the division.

One win away from sweeping into the finals. Brampton isn't looking very good.

What did people expect when they sold off Vietri to Kitchener and Goodman/Pullicino to Waterloo?

They were sellers.
