A story on the 99ers 1st playoff appearance.

An interesting quote in the article, a coach say's the Mid-West is the toughest division in the GOJHL... Until they bring the Cup back to the Mid-West, they'll be known as the West and Golden Horseshoe's little sisters. :P :lol:

Last season, every Midwest Conference won at the showcase tournament. To refer to the Midwest as the "little sister" is a huge understatement, considering St. Mary's had less points than Cambridge yet they still made the playoffs.

If you look back, since the 93-94 season, the Midwest won the Cup 11 times and the finalist 7 times.
