Listowel Arena -- side netting?

Post by GOJHLhockey »

I'm thinking of going up to Listowel Friday night, but since it's a couple of hours away, wanted to do some research first so I don't drive up there just to turn around. :)

The critical question is, is there netting on the sides? I'm one who just can't see through nets.

Secondary questions are...how cold is it (Aka how warm should I dress?), how big is the arena, how full will it be? Do I need to be there two hours early?

Thanks!!

it's small. you'll be fine this round, but in the finals, probably need to get there hours early

Here's a few pics I snapped during a pre-season game back in fall 2009 - sorry I don't know if they added side netting or not but this will give you an idea of the size of the seating area.
