From the Guelph Tribune:
There is a Hurricane coming.
The Guelph Dominators of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League appear to have a new handle and it’s the Guelph Hurricanes.

The team’s current website, guelphdominators.com, now reads “Guelph Hurricanes Hockey Club” and new colours and a new site is promised.

The Dominators were sold recently to three local businessman, who have preferred to remain anonymous.

Interesting name choice, but what's with the secrecy of the new ownership?

It happens all the time. Its easier than trying out for the team. Just buy the damn thing. It should be another great season of Mid-West domination in the GOJHL.

I havn't seen any of the owner sons playing yet. The only thing the Dominators/Hurricanes have changed so far is the jerseys. They are not playing well.

Dr. Ron Hebden, a local dentist, Guelph Rona Cashway owner Wayne Filsinger and a pair of real estate developers — Fusion Homes president Lee Piccoli and Mar-Cot Investment owner Mario Cotroneo. No Kids...just fans. Ron and Wayne were originally part owners of the Guelph Storm.

It's going to be a big change to watch the games at the Sleeman Center versus the Victoria Road rink.
