Midwest Junior C MWJCHL

Post by ILuvHackey »

No Midwest fans on here?

Looks like New Hamburg is first into the finals, and Ayr is up 3-0 on Wellesley. They should clinch tonight I believe.

Ayr will win the division. They have Klie and Serapham.

Any idea why those two left Elmira? They would have a good team with those two still there. :)

Doesn't one of them have an NCAA commitment for next season? Seraphim I think?

I heard Klie was really unhappy with Elmira management last year and told them he was done with Jr. B because of it. Wanted to play hockey, win a championship and enjoy some more free time.

New Hamburg vs Ayr in the final
New Hamburg have played Ayr hard all year. Winning 3 out of 5
In the playoffs so far these two teams are so close.

Team GP W L PTS WPCT GF GA PIM SHOT SS% SV SV% HOME AWAY
Ayr 9 8 1 16 .889 54 19 409 421 .128 274 .935 4-1 4-0

Team GP W L PTS WPCT GF GA PIM SHOTS S% SV SV% HOME AWAY
Hamburg 9 8 1 16 .889 47 19 166 378 .124 259 .932 5-0 3-1

I still think Ayr has more fire power.

Ayr won 4-1 last night to take a 3 games to 1 lead
Lots of shots on goal 32 - 49
It's been a close serious but New Hambrurg can't get a break

Woodstock is searching for yet another head coach as Stratford plucks Adam Wallace as an associate coach.

Everything I've read is Cambridge, not Stratford.
