New OHA Board Proves to Be a Disaster

Post by Jumpin »

The new OHA board failed every team and players!!!!
The trading deadline was changed to 7pm across Canada and the OHA board failed to be educated enough to manage the OHA. Over 62 trades are now null and void. This is the biggest disaster in the history of the OHA. This is truly what happens when structure and leadership is non existent. Total disgrace for hockey in Canada!!! The entire board should remove themselves!!

The board just sent out a memo stating this will not apply to Jr B and Jr C loops. Business as usual all transactions approved after 7pm.

Jumpin, sounds like you may have been a member of the board that was tossed out. Why don't you get the facts
before before letting your mouth run off. It was the previous Board and the lack of communications from the
former Board that led to this problem. The change was made in 2017 from midnight to 7pm for signings and the
FORMER BOARD failed to communicate this to their teams.

Maybe not the Board but should the front office people not know enough to communicate this?

memo was sent during previous boards tenure
not shared with office staff
not shared with every board member
if this happened God knows what other surprises are awaiting the membership

confirms the moral fortitude of previous board members
