This isn't surprising given that there is no viable Jr A option in SW Ontario. Some of the better players wait until they are finished school and they have better options than the OJ since they have to move to play A anyway. The GO league moving to A could be a double-edged sword. In a way. If the league were to become a big bucks league like the OJ, alot of young talent would still play down to keep options open. Obviously some teams would need to be purged to try to keep the league competitive at A.At the end of the day we wouldn't want to see the league price itself out of the market for the level of talent we are accustomed to seeing in the GOJHL.
