It worked for Spencer Gourley he played for Halton last year. Now he's in the NCAA.
Maybe the GOJHL better start looking at some of the kids in the GMHL.
I know Hagersville goalie Stephen Tierney came from the Toronto Predators of the GMHL.
The GMHL is a threat to the GOJHL. The GOJHL talking about having a fouth conference.
They better start moving on this or it's going to be to late.The more teams that go under in the GMHL.
The worst in might be for the GOJHL . These towns might not want to deal with it again.
Some of these places could be great spots for JR-B team.
If you live in one of these towns and there getting a JR-A team (GMHL) coming to town.
Your not going to care about a outlaw league.
I think Tillsonburg and Wiarton joining the GMHL next year.

The Tottenham Steam of the GMHL have applied to be apart of the GOJHL and its 4th conference.

Great post! Thanks for posting those links. All the different teams and players from all over the world is enough to grab one's attention.

The pace is a little slower than the GOJHL, but there's a ton of great talent in the GMHL

Really??? They have a great team every season. I think if they focused on finding a bit more speed, they'd be a solid Jr.B club.

Why are we, as the GOJHL, supposed to be scared of the GMHL? It's been pointed out to me that last night Alliston and Shelburne played. Shelburne dressed 7 guys for the game, 5 forwards, 1 defence, and 1 goalie, and lost 16-2.

In the London area, you never hear anything about the London Lakers or the Komoka Dragons. The only thing brought up is the linesman that punched the player, and that was weeks ago and hasn't been heard about since.

90% of the games are blow outs and that might be low. You don't see a score like that every night in the GOJHL where the GMHL you do. I do not think there is a reason to be scared. Only reason guys from the GOJ go there is because you can play as an overage.

90%? C'mon. The blow outs aren't that bad. lol

When you have a league of 30 teams and several are in their first seasons... There's going to be growing pains.

With more and more tens going to the GMHL... That's why this league should worry. Of course the GMHL isn't known as well as the GOJHL. It's still a knew league. Teams have folded, others have put a great product on the ice right away.

If they didn't already feature several players from this league(who are still eligible for this league), then maybe there would nothing to worry about.

I personally don't see the league as a significant threat. But that doesn't mean things won't get to that point in the future.
