Will there be a Sutherland Cup this season

Post by Port hockey1 »

With the NBA suspending the season, and the NHL possibly doing the same, what does the future hold for this gojhl season.

Has there been any talk of canceling future playoff rounds..

Just move the games to larger venues. For example , the Dutchmen should have played in the main Aud, Nationals at Bud Gardens, LaSalle at WFCU, etc. The more spread out the crowd, the lesser of risk of spreading.

Wonder if the fact that there are no American teams in the GOJHL and PJHL will be a factor in deciding if they will continue to play

Do the right thing. Suspend play for 14 days and then re evaluate the situation. Protect the players and the fans who support the GOJHL.

I know it had to be done to help contain the virus but I'm very sad.

what a dissappointing way to end the hockey year. this year more then ever it was lookin like the best west final in since nationals and flyers went 6 in 2015-2016. even with the west was so top heavy it was going to make an amazing series because they are so good. would like to have seen how good the vairs were compared to teams in the west. watched fair share of midwest games and teams lacked star power but good overall teams. fans robbed of some amazing games in a few weeks. still dont understand why they cant follow the chl and review in a bit when this calms down. does anyone know when awards come out. atleast something hockey to talk

Congrats to Randy from Chatham on the Convenor's Award, and all the other winners.
