Thorold folding?

Post by nineteensixty5 »

Saw this on the GOJHL website:

"Please be advised that the Thorold Blackhawks will not finish the season due to continuing roster challenges ‎impacted by illness, injuries, and suspensions. The OHA in collaboration with the GOJHL are considering what adjustments may be needed for the remainder of the season. Details should be forthcoming in the near future"

Sure hope they don't let Buffalo become 8th seed and be a complete embarrassment for 4 playoff games against Caledonia. Just give Caledonia a bye.

I agree only problem is Caledonia does not want a bye. Playing Buffalo is just like a practice so I dont know what difference they think it would make. Thats a nice way of putting it for Thorold to. Shouldnt have sold off all there players at the deadline.

According to Bill from the Cambridge Times, Caledonia is getting a first round bye and the wildcard calculations commence with Round 2.

Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.
