Pulling Goalie in OT

Post by RocketGirl »

I've never actually seen a team do it, but Brantford did tonight.

They were tied 4-4 with Guelph in 3 on 3 OT and their coach took the gamble and it backfired. Guelph scored on the empty net for a 5-4 2OT win.

I know they're both worth 1 point, but personally, I'd rather take the tie than have an OTL.
Queen of the GOJHL

Sometimes you just have to straighten your crown and remind them who they're dealing with.

Interesting. That is what the regular season is for I guess trying stuff like that especially when your in Brantfords position needing as many points they can get.
