St marys/ Leamington
Looks like st marys had a good night going for themselves tonight getting a 1-0 lead shortly into the first period and holding the it till mid way in the third before leamington got a goal. Not sure how they managed to fair out as well as they did despite being heavily out shot 55-23. well done boys...

Re: Chatham Captain Brayden Hopkins leaves Maroons
A lot of discussion on the Junior C forum on Hopkins leaving Chatham and Joining the Blenheim Blades. But I don’t think he can play or perhaps even practice with the Blades until he is officially released. And from what I have seen to date, Chatham has not released him yet. Does anyone know why? ht...

Re: Strathroy player runs, injures St.Marys goalie
No I don't. I know that it wasn't intentional, it wasn't deliberate, and yes, Town went down, but within the rules of the OHA, and what the referees called, it's non-suspendable. He's a first-time offender at this level, his PIM's are relatively minor at 34, what kind of harsh sentence are you goin...

Re: Strathroy player runs, injures St.Marys goalie
comon really rg if that was a chatham or a leamington player that did the to a strathroy goalie you would be the first one givin the chance to drop the hammer on the player these kids are old enough and experienced enough to know better and should have avoided the goalie end of story

Re: Strathroy player runs, injures St.Marys goalie
in my opinion the refs made the right call on the play. The rocket player lost control of the puck at the top of the circle at which point he crashed the net and into the goalie. Now had the goalie been out of the blue paint i would have said that at that point he put him self in the position but th...

Re: chatham/lasalle
Nice win by the Maroons especially with the potential of having some distractions about Hopkins leaving the team. I’m sure the coach addressed the issue with the team prior to the game. The LaSalle goalie must have displaced the net 5 or 6 times and no call. Can anyone explain what the rule is? Yes...

really flyers because when chatham beat the flyers early in the season you didnt have anything to say then. chatham has held there own well this year considering the amount of young players they have not to mention probably the youngest coach in the league

Re: Flyers route Maroons 8-0
YOu know flyers it amazes me the fact that you have been so quiet lately on here then start something like this when Chatham beat leamington early in the year not a damn word was heard about it. As for johnson letting in to soft goals to start both of them were power play goals and the third goal th...

From what i saw in chatham last night had the rockets not had so many penalties it could have been a very different game. people can say what they want but in my opinion that was the big issue for the rockets

Re: Nationals stun Maroons in opener
The discussion should be about why Tugwell is outplaying Patterson. Both teams took 33 shots tonight. London hit the twine five times. Chatham did it four. If my math is correct, that puts the Nats up 2 games to nada. Goaltending wins close series. This is a close series. If I was the coach for Mar...

Re: Nationals stun Maroons in opener
Oh, and btw... the refs were crap. A couple of very questionable calls against London, while lots of looks the other way when Maroons were mauling the Nats. Comon really the nats got plenty of looks the other way as well. Not saying they didnt work hard for that win but dont act like the refs were ...

Re: Shorthanded Flyers clinch First Place against Maroons
The Leamington Flyers with Tripe A goalie Michael DiPietro defeated the Maroons 5-2, the Flyers defence stood big only allowing 21 shots. Close to 1,000 fans in attendance made for a great atmosphere. Chatham fans were very classy except for one who didn't mind shooting there mouth off in Dresden t...
