Re: Brendan D'Agostino, Thorold underrated
http://www.forterietimes.ca/2016/10/20/blackhawks-down-meteors-with-3-1-win Good write up a on Thorold. The article talks about the good and bad so far this year. And its great to see this there should be some good battles coming up. With the improvement of Thorold, N.F. and Welland. against Caledon...

Surprizes So Far
With almost a third of the season over. I thought I would look at a few things so far that have surprize me so far. - Brendan D'Agostino (Thorold) leading scorer in the GOJHL - 4 guys in the top ten in scoring (Thorold) and two are defencemen in the GOJHL - Thorold having the top two defencemen in s...

Re: Look out for Niagara Falls
There's lots of talk about Caledonia and St Catharines this year about the GHL being a two team race. I think they better both look behind them in 3rd spot. Niagara Falls has a very good team. They got back Frank Pucci back 3gp 2g 4a got Owen Green from St Kitts 13gp 6g 11a To go with a balance off...

Welland at Caledonia
This was not a good game. Both teams very chippy and dirty. Maybe some people like this kind of hockey but I don't. I thought I was watching a JR-C game. I don't know if the referee's took the flow out of the game or what. Look at the penalties in this game a disgrace to JR -B hockey. If it was Well...

With the good start Welland is having. I hope they start looking at guys to improve there team. They have a big weekend. They have lost already Friday 7-2 to N.F. Now they play back to back with Caledonia. It's not just Caledonia and St Kitts that's bring in guys.N.F. have Pucci back, Ancaster have ...

A good start for DiTomaso . Now like all players who come down from the OHL or QMJHL. They will have to get use of JR-B hockey hitting from behind.

http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2016/10/13/avs-edge-hawks I have been waiting for this team to start winning to. They have played Caledonia and St Kitts hard this year. But have had trouble with N.F. Welland and Ancaster. Adding Jacob Buch (to add some scoring) Zachary Plumb and Brady Lee great d...

It sounds like a good idea but all most in possible to do.
One thing to much travel for some teams would just fold
And that's probably not a bad idea either

Golden Horseshoe lacks offence
Forget about 30 or 40 goal scorers. I don't see that many 20 goal scores this year. That goes for Caledonia and St Catharines to. The only thing helping any goal scoring is it's such a weak conference. There's Caledonia and St Catharines and all the rest will struggle to score. All teams including C...

It will be interesting to see who steps up for scoring. Beside Lucas Smilsky there not a lot of offence on this team.
Tyler Angle looked good in preseason. I think he's up with the Spitfires I don't if he made the team or not.

I don't think Pelham or Welland will win a game at the showcase.
Pelham might have a chance against St Marys.
London vs Welland what a miss match who put that together.

Brantford could easily win both games at the showcase.
There going to go as far as Cameron Zanussi takes them.
With a lot of teams with new goaltenders in the MidWest.
It could come down to who has the best goaltending.

Good read on volunteers are employees, or not. I think a lot of people on this forum has run into this problem. Rumor has it that Connor Murphy(96') is pursuing playing with the Caledonia Corvairs for his final year before school.
This is big news for Caledonia they are going for it. And I heard there not done yet.
