Re: Goals & Assists on Gamesheet
It can get fixed during the game but only if it is caught in time and the call is made by one of the refs. It can get fixed post game if the team wants a change and the ref OKs it before the gamesheet becomes finalized. It can get fixed after the game is finalized only if one of the teams requests i...

Going off topic is one thing, and it happens quite often at many of the boards which I post/lurk. It happens quite often that the a topic morphs into something different than the original topic. That tends to happen and it's not a big deal. But that's not really the problem as I see it. What I see t...

Which Verbeek? Sarnia has had two of them -- Pat Verbeek who coached the team for a couple of years including a season when his son Kyle played. I'm guessing you mean a relative of one of them ... or maybe not.

I'd say it's Jr B & C news since it concerns a coach who most recently was coaching at Jr B and may now be looking to go back to Jr C.

Re: Golden Horseshoe Leaving?
Like I said, they've played in the All-Star games before. You said so yourself. Just because the Shoe is no longer a part of the newer league shouldn't mean no more All-Star match ups. That may be true. However, since this all star game is a GOJHL all star game, which means it will feature only tho...

Re: Amante Suspension
I think this is what it get listed on PS for something when the league needs to take a look at video. That is what happened with Sarnia's Tyler Prong. He was listed as have a minimum 4 game suspension and once the league saw the video, their decision was 6 games.

Re: Golden Horseshoe Leaving?
Here's a question to ponder. If the GHC is leaving the GOJHL, will the continue to be listed as part of such on PointStreak this season with the understanding that they won't be next season? Or do they simply move the GH to their "own" league from the perspective of Pointstreak. Just curio...

The very odd thing here is that Perkowski was the only Flyer who received a fighting major so how can he be 2nd fight same stoppage of play? I would imagine because Sablone was trying to go after Amante I assume, and got a fighting major, the Perkowski/D. Langlois fight would be considered the 2nd....

Re: Amante/Sablone
OK, here's what I figured out and explains why Amante isn't suspended. If you receive a GM30 or a GM 28 before the 10 minute mark of the 3rd period, you are gone for just the balance of the current game. There is no further suspension. If it occurred after the 10 minute mark, then you are gone for t...

Re: Chatham Maroons cut ties with Mark Davis
RG do not expect me to speak to Davis if he lands in Mooretown. He would be the last person I would want to speak with.
Why do some here say there is an opening in Mooretown? Last I heard, Blake Morrison from the Legionnaires is the head coach in Mooretown. Something changed?

Re: St Marys Transactions
I would venture to say that the Lincs are likely talking to other teams and want to make sure that any trades they make are good for all the teams involved. I'd think that any and all teams are willing to part with players, but it has to make sense for all and not just a fire sale because more playe...

2 Lincs Looking for a New Home?
I was reading an article about the GH leaving the GOJHL using the online version of the Regional Country News for St. Marys. After reading that portion of the page, the next "bullet" was about a couple of players who apparently want out of St. Marys. According to the article (which can be ...

Well if you let Bob in Sarnia know when you are coming, he might be able to put a bug in the ears of the announcers. Johnson dressed, he just didn't play.
ETA: I did see Johnson out for warmup and that he was scheduled to be the starter. Just read that Johnson apparently was scheduled to start but was a late scratch.

My guess is Rosie used his "backup" because he was saving his #1 tender for Chatham tonight. As tough as it is to play in Strathroy, it is just as tough in Chatham - at least that has been my experience in both barns. Sarnia had a 7-day layoff before they were scheduled for 4 games in 6 da...

Re: Congrats Strathroy
Strathroy has been "the thorn in Sarnia's side" for a number of years. I kind of wondered if they would be the team to give Sarnia their first loss of the season. The Rockets always play hard at home and they make it very difficult for other teams to win there -- especially for Sarnia, or ...
