Re: Caledonia Corvairs

They've moved out a lot of talent to Chatham and Waterloo recently.

As much as I pick on Caledonia, I would be disappointed to see them go.

The Lincs are excited to welcome Blair Butchart! Blair comes to the Stonetown after putting up a 79 point season for the Mount Forest Patriots, and winning the Pollock Division MVP. He went to Elmira with big expectations a few years back and was just okay when I saw him. Will be interesting to see...

Re: 2018-19 Signings

Hearing that Max Ewart has had enough of Trenton and will be coming back to the GO. Conversely, it appears as if Ancaster (Kilty's) goalie will be the man between the pipes for the Golden Hawks this season. Hearing about lots of other deals involving GOJHL talent moving on to the OJHL and other Jr....

If you want to fix the Midwest..bring in Woodstock!! Great community support and a great facility that would work for Junior B! I agree -- that's a place I can see supporting a B franchise well. A lot of people say Ayr, but I feel like a lot of those Centennials fans are also Cambridge Winterhawks ...

Re: SHOULD WE HAVE A NEW PLAYOFF FORMAT?

I'd just like to see the league go to two conference format. Currently there are 26 teams. More than likely a couple could be out if the rumors are true. SO for sake of an argument let's say 22. If you do two conferences, that means 8 teams are out of the playoffs each year. Makes it that much harde...

To set the record straight the Pelham Panthers have not been apart of the GOJHL Inc since July of 2017. If you left the GOJHL last summer, then why did your team participate in GOJHL events, like the Showcase, Prospects Games and play-offs? https://media1.tenor.com/images/ae912561d8d8b00525024cebb2...

I like how you think. It would give the Kings the Cherrey Cup they weren't able to win last season. One thing that could make a difference will be Lansink is out. Anyone know what is happening with him? He fell awkwardly in Game 3 (I think?) and started convulsing on the ice after hitting his neck ...

Was in Listowel Friday night and then did a triple-header Sunday (Waterloo, Ayr, Elmira). Fridayy was a solid "playoff game" -- Waterloo was real physical on Listowel and at times dominated them in the possession game in their zone cycling the puck with some of their bigger wingers, but ju...

Watched 6 of the 7 in Wat/Kitch series. And watched 2 of the Elmira/Brampton series.

Thought Daniels (Kitch G) stole them two games for sure. Was a heck of a series!

Guessing Listy in 6 and Stratford in 5. (Elmira has some good players but they haven't played to their potential at all this year)

The team GMs make the schedules with their serial rival GM. League doesn't have much say other than telling them when they can start and when they have to be done by.

St. Mary's sent their Captain to London and their leading scorer to Waterloo. I could understand if they were 97s, but dealing off a 98 and a 99? Not good for the future either.

Hergott's numbers last year don't look all that different from Baier's, though.

No doubt he was good and so was Hergott, but I don't think they'd put up the same numbers in Stratford, for example, who tend to be so run and gunny that they give up chances. Listowel just smothers you defensively.

Hergott was the backup last year, and seemed to be relished to that role again this year when they brought Wright in from my beloved Winterhawks. Never seemed to be great despite the good numbers. A lot of people think he's a product of their incredible defensive play. But I might have to get to som...
