The OHA is suppose to fill in the missing blanks as far as leadership goes. Are they just a logo?

Re: Golden Horseshoe Leaving?
I hate the term outlaw. These kids are not criminals. The word independent Jr A league is far more appropriate

Re: Question for hockey fans
The gmhl an independent league for players 16 to 21. It is mainly a pay to play league with no residency requirements boundaries for players. All teams practice at least twice a week. They had a fan foum but they cancelled it. Probably due to so many critics of league at the time. It has its place i...

Never thought I would see the day that the Jr A league would start charging players to play. Is Jr B next? Things are changing in Ontario Hockey scene.

Re: Owen Sound Greys
It is a shame. Maybe there is another league like the GMHA that they can go in to keep the team going. I know of 2 other junior teams over the years one went from community owned to private ownership (St Thomas Stars - ask Dan Rose about that) and another private ownership was forced out by people i...

thamesford fined
Noticed Thamesford received a $3600 fine plus Webb the longtime manager received a 20 game suspension. Teams almost need Assistant GM's to help avoid these kind of fines, suspensions. Teams do not have that kind of monies to pay these hefty fines especially at the D level.

Re: Dorchester gets home-grown franchise
regarding todays london free press article about the proposed Dorchester team. As stated before, the OHA board is a powerful outfit. If they wish to impose something that is not allowed by their own OHA rule book (encroachment rule) they will either try to overturn this previously passed OHA rule fo...

It is nice to see but the calibre of play will decrease with all the teams (too many)in the area but should make for good rivalries.
