Canucks were having troubles with Thornton and VanHeeswyk this afternoon. Entire bench was yelling at Thornton at the end of the game, McCabe was right in his face.

Re: Sutherland Cup Semis
Love our game Having seen them play half a dozen times or so between this year and last. I could see his defensive systems as a 5 man unit and their power play especially had a unique twist to it from most other GO teams I witnessed. 2 big elements of the game that take successful teams a long way....

Re: Sutherland Cup Semis
I'd like to see Listowel take out London again, but I don't think that's going to happen.
I predict that Waterloo and Niagara Falls will be a good series to watch. I think it'll be a coin flip on who emerges.
Perhaps this round, I'll make it to a game.

Re: Sutherland Cup Semi-Finals
I've run all the scenarios and here's where we stand. 1. If Waterloo and Niagara Falls win, Listowel is the Wild Card. 2. If Waterloo and St. Catharines win, Niagara Falls is the Wild Card. 3. If Listowel and Niagara Falls win, St. Catharines is the Wild Card. 4. If Listowel and St. Catharines win,...

Re: London Nationals/Leamington Flyers
I just want to point out that Leamington has had more losses at home in the play-offs than they did in the regular season.
The fat lady ain't singing yet, she's just warming up, but I think the Flyers might be done. Are looking at getting swept on Wednesday.

Re: London Nationals/Leamington Flyers
Who does everyone think will win each Conference and who's going to be the wild card this year?
I'm going with Niagara Falls, Listowel and London as Conference Champs and St Catharines with the wild card.

Totally agree with you on this one RG. RH reputation speaks for itself. Just a couple years ago he had inquired about the Rockets head position but they went with JG and the father son package deal that speaks for itself also. Can't help but think of what could have been. Thanks for acknowledging t...

Re: Leamington Komoka series
I think you're missing the coaching aspect here. Horvat is an experienced coach, he took a 7th place St Thomas Stars to the finals. On the other bench, Crowder is in a bit over his head and it shows.

Re: Western Conference Awards
The GM's, unless it's changed. In years past, each team would put forth their nominees for the awards, each team would have 1 representative. On the day of the banquet, they would have a GM meeting, the last before play-offs, and that's when voting would take place. I believe you could not vote for...

Here's a question, how long until Makaric is let go? Or will he be? Based on some reaction on here and Facebook, it almost feels like Maroons fans will riot if he's not fired.

Well, my boys season has come to an end. I wasn't there tonight, but I'm so proud of them! They didn't roll over because of where they finished and who they were playing and they fought to the end.
And hey, we weren't the first team knocked out!

St Thomas is done and both Strathroy and Chatham will win to tie up their series 2-2.
Let's go further, Sarnia is done tomorrow.

Re: First Round Predictions
Last night was a fantastic game, despite some comments I read on Leamington's Facebook page. I haven't been that stressed and excited during our games in a long time. Had Leamington tied it and pushed it to OT, I'm not sure we would have won it. There was something about yesterday that I was super ...
