A lot of discussion on the Junior C forum on Hopkins leaving Chatham and Joining the Blenheim Blades. But I don’t think he can play or perhaps even practice with the Blades until he is officially released. And from what I have seen to date, Chatham has not released him yet.
Does anyone know why?

Nice win by the Maroons especially with the potential of having some distractions about Hopkins leaving the team. I’m sure the coach addressed the issue with the team prior to the game.
The LaSalle goalie must have displaced the net 5 or 6 times and no call. Can anyone explain what the rule is?

Chatham definitely had an off night. Johnston let in a couple of weak goals early and Chatham’s defence was shaky. The vets did not step up when they needed too. Leamigton play a very good game. They wanted the puck more than Chatham and out played them in all parts of the game. This was a big game ...
