Brantford rarely broadcasts on HockeyTV because of internet issues at the facility

Re: Golden Horseshoe Standings 2017-2018 predictions...

I know the scouts who come out to the showcase already have players in mine to watch. But I still say why do we have the Showcase so early. I liked it when St Catharines had the Showcase. It was not at the start of the season. I asked someone that last year and was told point blank that the NCAA to...

Re: Stratford Warriors 17-18

I hear Peyton Vescio will be cut from North Bay Battalion and end up in Stratford. Gonna need it! I saw the other day that they've lost Mason Hardy, Jack Wieringa and Hugh Anderson to the OHL, QMJHL and NAHL respectively. That's 3 of their 4 returning D. All that's left is Ryan Nicholson, who is go...

I've been told by people a lot smarter than me to expect that they will be BETTER offensively, but they're now lacking their stud goalie.

i believe that Curtin is supposed to start the year in Hagersville but with how he has performed i can see him being the backup. Allan will likely start with the corvairs and move down to Jr.C. Looks like another promising year Caledonia have already signed that Barrie 2000 goalie...Charleston(?), ...

Haven't heard anything about returning players.

But the 3-4 names I've heard they've recruited are all 2000's, including a goalie from the Barrie AAA program.

Re: Busy off season so far for St.Catharines

Busby is a very nice signing for the Falcons. Quality defenceman for sure. Not sure how to project the other two signings, they look more like depth at this point, which is always nice. I'd bet on DeJong playing a Top 4 role with Fitzgerald. He's an impressive young hockey player. Played as a 16 ye...

Super early, but let's get this party started. I will revise before the showcase with final predictions. While I agree somewhat name another league that doesnt have their schedule released well in advance of the season starting. It just looks really bad on a league that wants to be classified as JR A and is apparently the #10. I don't see why having a schedule released is such a blemish on the league....

Why is it that in Ontario players are asked to fork out thousands of dollars to play but in other provinces they are not? It used to be free, and it included equipment, billets, transportation etc. For the teams that are getting 600+ fans per game they should be asking less or nothing to play. The ...
