Davis
Anyone read M.Davis's comments in the Chatham Daily News? Unreal, he basically blames Leamington, saying he wouldn't have protested those games and has never protested in his career. He said that's twice they've done this to us in a year.(not exact wording) He sarcastically said Leamington is perfec...

Re: Flyers vs Maroons Protest
I am not saying that this is not embarrassing , and yes it should of never happened , but they were given the punishment that goes with this crime , Why is their outcry for more severe punishment ? They got what was in the rules and what every other team would of gotten for the same offence. Agreed...

Re: Flyers vs Maroons Protest
How is it when something is done wrong and then the team is punished according to the rules, it is never good enough for you people ! Why don't we just throw Chatham out of the league ? Would that make you all happy ? They did something wrong and received the league punishment now move on ! I'd nor...

Re: Flyers vs Maroons Protest
They need to show Davis the door. This is unforgivable. No reason to be pulling that kind of a stunt less than a year after the team was hit hard after losing two protests. Not to mention the sanctions. Win at all costs, risking a forfeit not included. Davis has been around long enough, no excuse f...

Re: Maroons rumor
And it certainly seems that the Maroons would like to sign another goaltender, so they would have to leave one card open for him. However, a team can trade for cards. Don't know if the OHA would Chatham to do that. I hope that doesn't happen. If the OHA did allow Chatham to trade for cards (to skir...

Re: Maroons rumor
OJHL Transactions page show that he was assigned to Chatham by the Patriots. This usually means they paid the $1,500 to get him so I'm guessing it's a done deal. Toronto Patriots 09/19/14 DEL Cato, Dede (F) assigned to Chatham (Jr. B) Some have been saying it's a done deal for a few days now. Other...

Re: Maroons rumor
Not sure what you're getting defensive over? That i said he was practising with the Maroons or that i said Tier 2 JR A isn't a lesser level of hockey. Either way, no need to get defensive when nothing i said discredited anything you posted. Just that he is free to sign with whomever he wants but it...

Re: Flyers vs Maroons Protest
:?: but according to points streak, there never was a listing for him being suspended unless they don't list every suspension or trade. so maybe he was not suspended if he was suspended it should have been listed, i really dont think that chatham would play a player that they knew was suspended. Re: Flyers vs Maroons Protest
Edit: It appears he may not have been suspended. I know in the past an automatic suspension has been missed by the league somehow. So if the league didn't notice that a suspension should've been issued, they can't penalize a team for playing a kid that was never listed as suspended. This should be ...

It was the rumor I heard, maybe look the word 'rumor' up online.rhinomark50 wrote:Cato has been practicing with Chatham and has 3-4 different teams looking at him.
Also Tier 2 Jr A is hardly a lower level but to each their own.

Maroons rumor
Rumors going around are saying Chatham might pick up defense-men Dede Cato, he recently left a Toronto team(at a lower level) and is a Chatham native.
If Chatham signs him I'm told they have to make a cut. Should be interesting.

Re: Bowen
Separately the M71 & M21 are not suspendable however "cumulative" they equal a GM26 ( in the 10 min of the game) and that is, even though they all happened at the same time it is still cumulative, but it's early in the season and these game really don't mean a lot in the grand scheme ...

I think you're a closet Rockets fan Port. It's ok. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Bust out of that closet and wear the red white & blue with PRIDE! I do like the Rocket's, I like most of the Western teams. Great hockey, the Rockets also have a great history. It makes it easy to like them. :) Bu...

So anybody have thoughts on LaSalle? Did they get a good group back this season? Will they be a top team again? As of now, my feelings are Strathroy, Chatham & LaSalle will be top teams. Just my early thoughts. :) Strathroy? Why would you feel that? I'm wondering if you meant Sarnia? I actually...

Thoughts on the Golden Horseshoe
Caledonia has brought in a very good Jr.A. goalie. They look to be a solid team yet again. St.Catharines looks to round out the top two, D'Ilario is back in net while Z.Moore has looked solid in net in the preseason too. They look to have another well rounded team. I'm thinking Welland has a 3rd-4th...

Chatham has a new goalie lined up. The timeline of when they can aquire him is the question. I hope sooner than the latter just for the pure fact of what it will stir up. :D I doubt it stirs anything up. Everyone knows what's going on. I don't even know who it is. All I've been told is they're pret...

Maroons get Beenackers back The Chatham Maroons have brought forward Steven Beenackers back from Lambton Shores. They traded the rights to 17 year old rookie forward Drew Marlatt and a underage card to the Predators. Beenackers had a great season last year scoring 12 goals and 31 assists for 43 poi...
