Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
I agree. Some of the penalties we got tonight were deserving but the refs didn't let the teams play. It was brutal tonight. Only way that niagra falls wins a game in the series is if we take penalty after penalty like in the second period tonight. Zottl's hit to the head to me was a hit to the head ...

Re: Limit 20 years old
Yea that's because their restricted of where they can go. They also have scholarship packages they can use so they don't really need to come to the league and get more scholarships and take them away from other players

Re: Limit 20 years old
I agree that they should be multiple year guys. With the rule your jut forcing teams like Caledonia to get the best Ohl 20 year olds thy can. Doesn't stop Caledonia from getting another pawley, Nixon, Cody brown, furlong type player. All this rule is gonna do is try and get 19 year olds from the O. ...

Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
They really didn't miss all that much that I saw. NF at the end really didn't do anything deserving in the end. They were staying away from corners, after whistles didn't go into scrims. Pretty clean. It might be just cuz I'm used to refs making bad calls in our games but it could've been worse

Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Just because we got more penalties doesn't mean they were biased. If we deserved the penalties what do u want the refs to do not call them so each team has the same amount? We always cycle the puck in the corner. Their is tons of penalties that do let go. Like I said I didn't see any in the first bu...

Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Refs weren't biased and it went both ways. When pawley got his slashing penalty it was a clear spear. He should of got more than 2 minutes for that. Missed calls both ways. They let a lot go actually. I missed most of the first but the last 2 periods were fine

Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
I didn't think it was that bad tonight. A couple missed calls but that happens in every game. Refs did a decent job in my mind. They certainly didn't effect the outcome of the game

Re: Caledonia(1) vs Niagara Falls(4), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
I still think that NF is a strong team. They showed it tonight at certain points (mostly the third). But they had a lot of mistakes and they led to goals. Backup goalie for niagra played great except for the turnover behind the net but he made a hell of a save getting back. Should be a great series....

Re: The Same Old Story In Pelham
I feel bad for the players on the team. They try really hard and are set up to fail by management. Don't know toffolo personally but it doesn't take 3 years in this year to do a complete rebuild. Corvairs lost like 12 players last year and still came back strong. This year we will lose over 15. Next...

Re: Limit 20 years old
So are u suggesting that the 20 year olds now go to jr c teams. Taking another league away from me c players. Their so too many reprecastions of limiting it. These players need a place to play aswell. I get it should be a development league but by having a lot of 20 year olds in the league it makes ...

Re: Limit 20 years old
couldn't their be another part to the rule something like the jr.c's overage rule. If a player who is 19 was with your team in December then they would be eligible to return for their 20 year old season. Therefore they don't count towards the 3 or 4 that you are allowed to have for the first season ...

Re: 2nd Round Predictions
I agree with port. I heard Stratford is pretty strong. Haven't seen them play though. I saw Elmira play Guelph in the final game of that series and Elmira didn't seem to overpowering. They have a great goaltender. Guelph looked like they shouldn't easily won the game but made a few mistakes. Totally...

Re: Kitchener(1) vs Waterloo(6), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Kitchener has a fast forward group who set up plays really well with their passing. They are very strong on their feet though for small guys. Never saw Waterloo play but with all the moves they made at the deadline looks like they could give Kitchener some trouble. Hope to go see a game or too.

Re: Round 2 Preview & Predictions
I would say Cali in 5. I think their too deep for NF to contend with. The only way that the vairs could lose the series is if bolibruck refs all the games and gives the vairs tons of suspensions. Should be a great series. I think Ancaster will give St kitts a run for its money. Ancaster is defendivy...
