So, all, who do you think might make some moves like this to warmup tunes? Personally, I can't think of any off hand but I'm sure others around here can.
If you'd like, you can include goalies who played in past seasons.
Anyone up for the challenge?

Thanks for the link RG. Since I seldom make it to away games, it's good to see something that should make reel highlights.

Re: Chatham 7 LaSalle 1
The PS admin will only look at making changes if requested. It is not up to that individual to know that a team used two of their goalies let alone how much time each spent in net, how many shots they faced or how many goals they give up. It is up to the home team's PS person to ensure they got it r...

Meanwhile, here in Sunny Sarnia (aka the Banana Belt for this area) things look pretty good. But ouch for those teams who have to find a way to fit in these games that have been cancelled.

Re: Alvinston Flyers moving to Petrolia
Petrolia had a pretty decent club when they were the Jets. Won the league (it was league back then, not conference like it is now). When they were a winning club, attendance was good and they had enough volunteers to take care of most of the stuff. It seemed once the team went on a bit of a slide, s...

So why are we talking about a team in the West Forum who doesn't compete in the West? Think it's time this topic got moved to the conference in which these teams play.

Re: Long suspension for Fort Erie player
I do know that in PS you cannot select someone who is suspended so thinking that is why they don't show up on the roster in the box score at all. Not sure why one type of output just plain doesn't list who is suspended while another does.

Re: Refs Picking on Caledonia?
The mysterious 10 minute misconducts as power play opportunities ... yes, that has been a problem for years. You'd think a company that handles multiple leagues in hockey (and other sports) would have been told of this problem and corrected it. NOPE. I think it's pretty much been this way since the ...

Re: Can anyone stop Caledonia in a best of seven series?
Not a problem Marcie. You are not the first person to call players overage when they are 20 and still playing Jr B, and I doubt you will be the last. I just wondered how the league classifies them. I'm sure it's written somewhere ... but I'm just not up to looking and reading material online.

Re: Can anyone stop Caledonia in a best of seven series?
Can anyone explain to me why 20 year olds are considered OA in the Jr B level? I must confess that the only time I hear the term overage used is in the OHL. Not sure what Jr C call those who are 21 except that they are in their final year of play. Would not be the first time that I have asked what s...

Re: Stratford gets Brooks-potts
Calculating plus/minus for each player could mean you need another pair of eyes to keep those stats. I *think* Sarnia has someone doing that type of stat, but it could be that I am mistaken and the stat that is given to the coaching team shows the position from which shots on net originated. And yea...

Re: Stratford gets Brooks-potts
I guess what bothers me is that as a league, we pay good money and yet things like this happens. And don't get me started when a 10 minute misconduct is considered a power play opportunity for a team. You would think after all these years of using the program (for the West, we are in year 11 of usin...

Re: Stratford gets Brooks-potts
PS has been doing some crazy things lately, at least in Sarnia. Our PS person would choose one goalie as the starter yet when the operator finalized the game, PS would show the backup as being the starter. Happened a few times, don't know what caused it.

Looks like I was wrong about London. I see most of us were wrong about Sarnia so far. And that's the beauty of making predictions and then seeing how on or off a person was in their choices. Me ... Re: Strathroy player runs, injures St.Marys goalie
OK, who here was actually AT the game. Looking at a gamesheet doesn't always reflect what has taken place in a game, it merely lists stats. Oh, and having the head of the refs doesn't ensure that correct calls are made while he is there or not. I was recently at a game where the home team was penali...

Re: Crazy Night In The West
I too was rather surprised that the Sarnia-Strathroy game was penalty free considering the past between these two teams :D I saw a few things that should have been called and was a bit curious as to whether it would lead to a huge blow-up sometime in the game. Fortunately nothing came of the few scr...

Re: Legionnaires vs Predators
I can understand how the Pred's coach was a bit upset because twice when they thought they had scored, the goal was waved off. If I recall correctly, both times it was because the net had come off due to players crashing the net and bowling over the goalies. In the case of the Preds, the refs lost s...

I would say that is correct because previously when playing in OT I have seen an extra player added rather than have one team playing with just 2 skaters and a goalie.Administrator wrote:In a 3 on 3 situation, what happens if a penalty occurs? Put a 4th player on for the power play?

Re: OHF knocks Tecumseh Chiefs out of the Great Lakes
What I think this is mostly likely about is certain teams who have been powerhouses in the league, are afraid of sharing the talent pool at that end of the league. Considering the population in that neck of the woods, I don't think it would really have been that terrible should the league expand to ...
