EXPECTATIONS IN THE HORSESHOE
Jan 10th is coming soon and I'm sure we all expect to see our favorite teams make some meaningful additions. Here's my forecast, Caledonia will try and update defense. No need to add to their forward lines or goaltending. They are set there. St.Catharines will try and add dept to their 3rd and fourth...

I quote "Being able to point out bad things about your team takes a lot of guts" end quote. You've got to be kidding. Shooting down a player and using his name and then sign off using your forum name takes guts ??? I don't think so. If those so inclined to point out weaknesses in a players...

Re: Caledonia going for four
Although I do find Cali vairs comments mostly informative and interesting I have to agree 100% with HockeyTalk21. It just isn't right to chirp your own players on a public forum. Do it within your own group if you must.

Caledonia Fan, Sounds like you and I were the only ones at the game. Neither team did what was expected. Maybe next time both teams will meet expectations. None the less, still 2 good hockey teams and nobody thrown under the bus. LOL.

I quote, " I know, I was just busting you. Your description of him, is, well, quite accurate* end quote. Come on man, what kind of a fan are you. You are not a Falcon Fan. Real fans have their teams back. Not you, the only part of the Falcons back you have is where you keep sticking your knife....

Corvairs and Canucks
Boring game. Poor defense and weak goaltending. More giveaways then a Black Friday at a U S Walmart store. Was expecting a hard fought skilled game from both teams but that never happened. Mallette had a good game for the Corvairs and McCabe had most of the Corvairs acting like alter boys every time...

Word in the Falls is they are really looking forward to their Friday night dust up with the Corvairs and none are more anxious then Rockem Sockem Patrick McCabe. Should be an interesting game in more than one way.

Re: Caledonia going for four
You forgot another element Niagara Falls has and that is team toughness. Maybe it will change now but nobody up until now could say that Caledonia is a physically tough team. Them along with St.Kitts are built with talent and speed. The Canucks are not as deep as the Corvairs or Falcons but close th...

Re: Best goalie
I've seen to few games in the West and mid-West to comment on their goalies. I've seen numerous games In Welland, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Caledonia and I would have to say that Savory is without a doubt the best goalie in the Shoe. For anyone to say he's just average is insane. I take noth...

Are you kidding me. They've been a train wreck from day one. I know your intentions are good but I say, let them fold and try again when they move from the Buffalo area( Port Colborn) and get committed and legitimate Jr. B players. Get rid of them now and " Lets Make The Horseshoe Great Again&q...

Re: Buffalo has FOLDED
Look its over and done with. Thank God somebody in Buffalo had the intelligence to realize its time to end this charade. This was something that nobody at the OHA had the brains or courage to do smt101. To the young men who played on the Buffalo team, this is no knock on you. You showed up game afte...

Re: Caledonia VS St Catharines
Another great game in Caledonia tonight with the Falcons. Both teams and both goalies were outstanding. It's just too bad the officiating wasn't up to the same standards these two teams displayed. Corvairs win 2_1 in overtime.

Re: St.Catharines vs Niagara Falls
Saw him play Tuesday night in St.Catharines. By far the best d'man on either team. Plays well in his own end and is the quarterback on their power play. Great skater, controls the play when he's on the ice. Should prove to be an excellent pick up by the Falls.

A real nail biter going on in St.Kitts tonight. After the 1st period the Falcons are hanging on to a 12-0 lead with a slight edge of 32-2 in shots on goal.

Re: Caledonia VS St Catharines
Have been to all 3 games in which they faced each other. Always very entertaining. Love the St.Catharines arena but would prefer watching games in Caledonia because of one simple fact. The clown in St.Catharines that plays the music must be stone deaf. :smt078 He plays the music so loud that you are...

Thorold Blackhawks new team logo
Last Friday night Thorold Management were to reveal their new team logo. I see nothing on the website pertaining to this. Has anybody seen the new logo? (I heard the new logo was a facial of the Thorold mayor Surrounded by 6 of his Councillors )

You are right, these kids need to get themselves under control. However the person who needs to get under control the most is their coach. He's been around and has played at the top level and at most times is the most out of control person on the bench.

Always a good game when the best two teams in the Horseshoe meet. Both teams have plenty of talent but the Falcons refuse to lose attitude last night is what brought them over the top. looking forward to the remaining battles between these two teams.

OHA Senseless Decisions Continue
The GOJHL voted in favour of NOT having Buffalo return to the Golden Horseshoe Conference. However their decision was overturned by the brain surge sitting in the OHA office :smt115 in Cambridge. And a fine decision that was :smt101 . In four games so far, Buffalo has failed to score a single goal w...
