Re: Trouble in Komoka
The turn around is not a one year process and Komoka is improving. Staff is getting amazing results with a short bench on many nights. If they could land 3 or 4 decent players in the next couple weeks they will be fine and challenge for the junior B- title versus St.Marys and Strathroy. The twins q...

Still doesn't make it right to give guys points that weren't there. There's also been a few high scoring games in all three divisions this season.GOJHLFAN-999 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 2:04 pm There has already been 8-0, 9-0, 9-1, 9-2. Re: Chatham
It's because the Coaches and General Managers can change the score sheet after the game is done but before it becomes official. It's also not fair that the winner is always from the Golden Horseshoe conference and they can run up the points when they play Buffalo. I don't think we'll see anymore of...

Re: Big Test for Caledonia
I give St.Catharines full credit. They are a very good team. I wasn't just talking about that game, or implying they shouldn't lose to them. I should've been more specific. In general, it doesn't look like they're giving a full effort for many games this season. A few of their fans, who are able to ...

Re: Big Test for Caledonia
Lost 6-3 to St.Catharines. Caledonia has a lot of elite players. Some who are nowhere close to where they were last season on the score sheet. Looks like they lack chemistry, or they just aren't putting in a full effort. Too much talent on that team to be playing like this.

19-0 now. They look really deep. If they can find a top goalie they'll be serious contenders.

Terrible article. Caledonia was not loaded with 20 year olds, every year during their cup winning streak. It was one season. But this is what I expect from one of the worst writers covering the GOJHL. lol

Alliston forward Drake Broad scored 8 goals and added 2 assists in his teams 16-2 win tonight. He scored 6 or 7 goals in a row. What a game!

Re: Dundas Blues need help
Some teams do spend money and bring in big names. But they've adopted rules to limit the number of older players teams can have. There's also a lot of small markets that are doing well because they recruit players. It looks like there's a few teams in the PJHL that don't even bother looking for tale...

Re: St. Catherines
Is the word "development" part of the vocablary in St. Catherines. They release and trade a bunch of their original signed team, then bring in a load of ex-OHL'ers only to lose to Pelam, lololo. Check there website they have 8-17year olds and 1-16 year old. I would call that development. ...

Funny how people only noticed when Caledonia did it. The Falcons have had a slump the last couple of seasons. So like recent years, they'll likely find chemistry eventually and start a winning streak.

Re: Elmira Sugar Kings
I wonder if they will announce that they were the 2016 Sutherland Cup champions as the players jump on the ice every period. They did that after they won the 2015/16 Cherrey Cup and to be honest, it made me loose respect for the team. That's for the fans though, isn't it? To give them something to ...

Come on Zant. You've been around the league for a longtime. He's having a breakout year. I've seen a lot of kids have average years the first couple of years, then have a big season in their last year. I'm not a big fan of the kid, but it's good to see him putting up bigger numbers this year.

Is London as good as they look? They look to have four lines that can score on any given night. They also appear to have a very good group playing defense. On paper, they're probably the best team in the GOJHL.

I think Niagara Falls will look a lot better once they've played a few more games. They have a pretty good roster. I think St.Catharines has a very deep team, I was thinking they might finish first... But Caledonia has put a better team together than I had thought. These will likely be the top 3 tea...

Not sure, but I don't think players traded to a team that charges will have to pay anything. They are also likely trading away a kid who already paid. If that's the case, it evens itself out.
