Re: Forum Rules

Ahhhh yes, I remember those days. We actually argued about things that took place during a game and if you didn't like what was said about your team, you usually came back with a retort. You know, kind of like having a conversation. Compared to how the forum is now, those posts from back then would ...

Well I can't tell what the issue was but managed to grab a screen capture from my phone, as you can see below. I assume this is what people were seeing? Everything looks OK but it looks like it may have been a CSS error. Something us IT people hate to say, but it looks like it "fixed itself&qu...

Re: Shoddy PS work

I did wonder if Sarnia tied it because on Game Live initially there was a lengthy pause but it still showed a 4-3 final. I went looking at the scoreboard page waiting for it to go final and then it showing up as a 5-3 DOT win for Chatham. Looking at GameLive now, it shows the Sarnia tender leaving t...

Port. I don't think asking a question about posts from anyone on here would be considered inciting. RG asked a valid question and your reply was, IMO, a bit OTT. RG is not on here reading specifically what you post so she can come up with something that annoys you. Chill out a bit, will ya please.

Caladonia Fan, totally agree with that last line. Easy to rack up points when you have teams that are being blown out by double digits -- and that just after the first period.

Good wishes to Chris and thanks for his dedicated coverage to the Rockets. May not have always agreed with his calls (after all, he IS the opposition's radio voice) but I applauded his enthusiasm and knowledge of the game.

I have been given permission from family to make this post and I do so with a saddened and heavy heart. Our Jr B family have lost one of our own as of last evening -- Joe Brooks. He was the Equipment Manager for 22 years with the Strathroy Rockets. You always knew Joe was in the house because he wou...

What I would like to see is a complete overhaul using something similar to what is used in the Olympics? World Juniors? Anyway, here is what I would propose. Outright win = 4 points O/T win = 3 points, O/T loss = 1 point Tie = each team gets 2 points. In this way, each game is worth 4 points and it'...

Re: 2016 SHOWCASE WEEKEND

From what I have been told about players still up with Jr A clubs is that they are likely to stay up there a bit longer than usual. The reason given to me is that with the World Hockey Championships going on, some NHL teams are keeping the "junior" players with them longer than as is usual...

Hey guys, how about laying off RG about knowing and not sharing. For one thing, hearing about something is not the same ...

Port, you asked: "How many 20 year olds were on the Sutherland Cup winning teams between 1998-2012???" I don't know. Why don't you go do the research and let us all know. My bet is none had as many and none had anywhere near as many OHLers as the Mighty 2016 Corvair$. That's a good questi...

I am sure that it was an operator error. Easy enough to make error, easy enough to change to the correct. Been there, done that a number of times, as in finalizing PS with errors. Usually gets corrected the next day after an email from the PS contact person of the home team .

Kudos to the Legionnaires for takking this series to 7 games considering most thought it go to maybe five games. Big shoutout to Battler for taking over the reins once Hughes was injured. Considering he is only a 98 born and Hughes is a 99 born, goaltending could be a strength next season which is l...

Being totally biased, I would love to see the Legionnaire's win this series. That being said, and being honest, I am blown away with how well the Sarnia boys have played. I have seen so much speed by team LaSalle this season and they certainly haven't lost it. However, I'm seeing a Sarnia team who i...

I believe that Sarnia uses (sometimes?) a school bus/coach hybrid if I understand correctly. It looks like a school bus on the outside but has coach style seats. No video or bathrooms on board, cheaper than Badder -- so I've been told.

Should Sarnia play Chatham, it would certainly cut down the cost of buses. Might even get more Sarnia fans making their way down to Chatham since it's a relatively short drive.
