RG is likely thinking of Strathroy. There only 4 teams that have not made head coaching changes - LaSalle (not likely as they just won coach of the year and have a proven winner in John Nelson), London (not going to happen with 3 straight trips to the SC unless Pat Powers gets an opportunity to coac...

WHICH TEAMS SHOULD QUALIFY FOR THE PLAYOFFS?

After watching London manhandle Strathroy last night and seeing how Caledonia destroyed Fort Erie (13-2, 9-2, 16-1, 8-3) and Listowel over Guelph (7-0, 3-0, 11-4) should 8th place teams qualify for the playoffs? Is there a better way to make the playoffs more competitive? Should only the top 4 teams...

Re: Where is Everyone?

I think most of us are just holding our breath to see where our clubs are going to finish. I doubt it is apathy from this group despite a general lack of interest from the fans that attend our games. This year's average league attendance is the lowest since the formation of the GOJHL.

As you say, 1st and 6th should be locked. In the lower race, as much as I love my Rockets and as much as I believe they are a better hockey club than Komoka and St. Marys they are having a heck of a time trying to prove it. It has been over 2 months since a win on the road and over 3 months since a ...

Re: Trouble in Komoka

Real pity here. They compete well against everyone then typically run out of gas as the legs give out later in the game. With another line they could be right in the mix with the better teams. Hopefully they can find some more good bodies before the trading deadline. Would like to see them do well.
