They are now waiting for the winner of the North Division. That should be another sweep. Mr. Masterson just proved again that you can buy a Championship.

Not fair to bash Tim when this team can get every 21 year old that is done Jr B in the area and that is why they are going to win. While I agree he was cancer to the city not fair to compare this team to his. Sure it is, he said he would bring a championship to the city, he said that could be taken...

(2) St.Catharines vs (7) Pelham- St.Catharines in a easy 4 game sweep (3) Niagara Falls vs (6) Welland- Niagara Falls in 4 (4) Ancaster vs (5) Fort Erie- Ancaster in 5 Looks like I was right on the money with these predictions. Not like it was that hard to predict most were within a game I think

Re: First round playoff talk, And preview
Both St. Kitts and NF move on with relative ease. Welland put up a bit of a fight tonight, but the series as a whole was never in doubt. Sets up a great 2nd round matchup. Anyone know how many games NF defenseman Mooney ended up receiving for his "spitting" misconduct? NF will really miss...

I was reading Rocket Girl's post regarding the Western Conference Awards and was wondering if the Golden Horseshoe voted on All Star and Rookie team selections as well. Also very nice to see the many volunteers be recognized at the cerimony for their tireless efforts. Without them most of these org...

Why wait for next season, you could stop posting now. And I could delete your account to help ya out. As for some new rules, I'll pass my suggestions on to a GM who could do something with them rather than a random fan. I'm free to make my own decisions. Why don't you delete your own account, it's ...

To be fair for them against Welland they did just come off beating Caledonia at home 7:30pm on Saturday night to a 1:30pm afternoon game the next day. I am sure fatigue was there and they still found a way to win. As for the suspensions they only have to get through tonight and Saturday then the pla...

Re: Welland Jr. Canadians
Maybe a little worse then they already would have been yep. A little? That's pretty much the top line & defensemen of a team that has problems scoring. They'll be lucky to score a goal between the two games. Score does not really matter, they lose both even with them in lineup unless McCorristo...

The Whalers will not lose a game in the playoffs. When you pay players against teams that make their players pay, it only makes sense you will be better. Except for Niagara, the league is really that shitty. I agree until they get to the finals at least. New Tecumseth and Parry Sound have really go...

Frustration boiling over from ownership selling all his players at the deadline? 14 skaters that night. Do not think they have had a full lineup since. Was only a matter of time I guess.

Re: Pulling Goalie in OT
I've never actually seen a team do it, but Brantford did tonight. They were tied 4-4 with Guelph in 3 on 3 OT and their coach took the gamble and it backfired. Guelph scored on the empty net for a 5-4 2OT win. I know they're both worth 1 point, but personally, I'd rather take the tie than have an O...

Caledonia signs another goalie Bradley Van Schubert from the Newmarket Hurricans. I thought Caledonia look good in net. I never saw this one coming. The question is why and who goes. Caledonia seems to go through more goalies then every other team in Golden Horseshoe does players and goalies combined

I know Caledonia normally goes over to Connecticut or something in the preseason for a tournament do they not? Not sure if they ended up going this year or not? Also a few years ago the OHA played against Russia not sure what happened to that it was just like the CHL vs Russia series.

They weren't going to move forward with 3 goalies.
