Re: OJHL Expansion/ What GOJHL teams will apply for Jr. A status?
Supposedly they've already picked the teams they want, Niagara Falls and Grimsby.

Re: Prediction On a Season Start Date
I was told the same thing the other day. There's also 1 health unit, which includes 2 of the teams, that is indefinitely staying in Stage 2, which I'm sure is also affecting the RTP plan. When the league has a plan, they will share it. Right now, they don't want to give any false hope with a start ...

Maybe a full plan has yet to be put in place.

Re: Next Season Graduates, Departures, Returnees
I believe every team will have to sign younger players for this upcoming season. With all the covid 19 stuff it's gonna be difficult for every team to find the perfect older players with not being allowed to have spring or main camps. Gonna be a whole hell of a lot different for every single team. ...

You can't have less than 3 on the ice. That's why in 3-on-3, if there's a penalty it becomes 4-on-3.

Brampton has a new name, Caledon Bombers. So there's gonna be a Caledon and a Caledonia. That's not gonna get confusing at all!

Tie vs Shootout
Reportedly there's a new OT format for this season. It will now be a 7 minute 3-on-3 and then a shootout if needed. It's sparked quite the debate. Some fans like the idea, some fans hate it (me), there are team officials who like it, there are some that don't, and there are those that just don't re...

Re: New GOJHL
A new rule has allegedly been passed that OT is now a 7 min 3-on-3 and then a shoot out. We got rid of shoot outs 5 years ago, why are they bringing it back?!

New GOJHL
The league posted this yesterday. What do we think is coming on Mon? Is it a new form of the GOJHL? Have they achieved the long talked about realignment? Is it just the start of the season, that team activities can resume?

Re: Will the GOJHL look different next Season?
I think things will be different. I think the crowds will be smaller and there will be teams that won't be able to sustain and will be forced to fold the following year. I'm honestly a little afraid for my team for that reason. I think there will be some that will seek and capitalize on new avenues...

Re: Siskins New Name & Logo
My OCD is very bothered by this. I'm guessing their theory is they're honouring Waterloo by putting it at the top, but it's wrong. It would have been much better if they designed a whole new logo, maybe even picked a new name.

Siskins New Name & Logo
Waterloo has a new name and logo.
This is going to be controversial, but can anyone see what's wrong with this new logo?

You can download the Tapatalk app, then search OJHL and it's there.
I think you can access it on a website as well, just Google Tapatalk.

Here's your facts on the situation:
London Ap’d Roobroeck on Sept 12, he did not get Ap’d on Brantford roster until Oct. London did nothing wrong, he is allowed to play for London. He has been marked ineligible on the Brantford HCR.

Re: GOJHL and their low standards
I might be working on an article of things the league should work on, so this topic is the perfect time to ask this question.
What are some things you guys would like to see the league do a better job of? Do you have any suggestions or new ideas on what they're doing now?

Re: GOJHL and their low standards
It's because, for whatever reason, on Feb 26 when the game started, it logged in as a regular season game. If you go look at Pointstreak for Feb 26, there are 2 games for LaSalle and Chatham, 1 is a playoff that was never started and the finished game is the regular season. So according to Pointstr...

Re: Playoff Predictions
Truth, I'll be happy if we win 2 games. The last, I don't know how many years, we've either gone out in a sweep or in 5 games. If we can get 2 wins, that's progress and I'll be happy. But this is just Game 1, and it's 7 for a reason. I said this will be the series to watch and I mean it. See you to...

Re: Playoff Predictions
I had to sit down and do some research before I got to this, so here's my slight preview and predictions. (1) London Nationals vs. (8) Sarnia Legionnaires London has been dominant this year, as everyone expected. They finished 8 points ahead of Leamington for first place. Sarnia struggled this seas...
