Re: round 2 brantford vs listowel
Listowel's record in their own barn speaks for itself: Their home record in regular season is 19-3-4 with only Brantford, Cambridge & Waterloo beating them at home in regulation time and these were at the start of the season. Their away record in regular season is 11-11-4. I think every team th...

Re: Round One - Brantford vs Guelph
From Stratford Beacon-Herald: "There have been numerous collisions between Leis and any number of Cullitons in their first four games, usually when Leis strays from his cage but sometimes when he's in his crease. Cullitons' captain Mitch Good did nothing to avoid bumping into Leis with under t...

Re: Round One - Brantford vs Guelph
No a disgrace to jr. b hockey would be cheating.
That sounds like a clever imitation of a great coach, who was far ahead of his time.

Re: Round One - Brantford vs Guelph
Probably a case, of not as many wide open, run and gun, running up the score games.

Re: Round One - Brantford vs Guelph
Two things. First, you don't let up, especially at this time of year. Any sport, if it's going, keep it going. Because you never know when it'll come back. I've played many sports, where I've been on teams that have shown some sportsmanship, and let up on weaker opponents, only to not be able to reg...

Maybe the Midwest league has something against natives too.

Re: owen sound
Does it matter if they are coming from Windsor or Indiana. Flying players in, just equates to really expensive gas mileage, which all teams pay players for.

Re: Brantford
Listening in to the actual Lincoln Brass last night, I heard Ladds' name and Brantford GM suspension(expulsion) a couple of times. About Brantford sliding though. In the midwest, the team that wins the league, 99% of the time, was the team that led and dominated throughout the year. Upsets very seld...

Hey I can repost that link. He actually has left several blogs, mainly anti Canadian hockey, but I've gotten a little rapport going with him, and I think while he keeps saying the same stuff, he really doesn't mean it. http://worldhockeydaily.wordpress.com/2009/01/01/dirty-canadians-steal-the-day/ L...

Re: Medal Round
I'll say the exact same thing as the semi. It's all about the PP. Canada had several PP against the Russians with something like 14-15 shots on them, but only 1 goal. Canada wasn't able to set up their potent 1-3-1 against Russia. If Canada can get the PP back to half of the 60% it was firing at, an...

Re: Semi Finals
I would agree with that now, in hindsight. But before the tourney begin the favourites for medals were US, Russia, and Sweden, not necessarily in that order. Personally anytime the tourney is in Canada I think they should be the favourites, but on paper (draft picks) is what the "experts" ...

Re: Quarter finals
I've made a few posts on that blog, but there is no point arguing with the dude. It is sad. You mean US outplayed Slovaks right? US should have won by 6. The last period was like watching the Lincs with a 1 goal lead. Very defensive. Rightwing lock works well for Slovaks though, and we are seeing Sw...

Re: Quarter finals
Russia and US 7-0 was my prediction. So much for the US.
Here is a link to an LA Kings writer? commenting on the CAN-USA game. I don't think I've ever heard this much whining even on here.
