Only one Webb. Don't the coach know Mitchell Webb is with the Erie Otters. He's played two games already. http://www.ottershockey.com/article/otters-add-mitchell-webb-for-pick I'm not sure if I'm missing your point...my bad. But Falcons are still missing Mitchell Webb, while he's on loan to Erie. H...

Re: St. Catherine's
It was a good game Friday night see what can happen in twenty four hours . I am sure it will be a better Falcon team next Saturday in Caledonia. No doubt. I would suspect it should be a very close game again. Once a week, with a weeks break in between. I think the Falcons could keep every game clos...

Re: St. Catherine's
Agreed to all of the above. I'm too lazy to go find my old post...but, I stick to the basis of it. No one will beat Caledonia in a seven game series. I still say Falcon's goalie is best in the league. If you put him on Caledonia, his numbers would be even more staggering. Not taking anything away fr...

Re: St.Catharines Falcons
Fort Erie out shot St.Catharines in every period. That was surprising to see with the score being so one sided. I wasn't at the game. But I've learned a long time ago, don't be fooled by 'shots on net'. Maybe the stat should be called 'quality shots on net'. I've seen teams, many of times, be out s...

Re: St.Catharines Falcons
Falcons clearly like playing Fort Erin better, in Fort Erie. Lit them up for 7-0 win. Top three teams win their games. Ancaster holding on to second place, with the Falcons having a game in hand.

Look at the goals Caledonia has 'for', with all of those penalty minutes. Imagine if they stayed out of the box!!! Yikes!! Falcons still have the Av's number, even though the Av's were down a few players still, I think. Solid goals for production. If they could just do that to Fort Erie and Thorold....

Re: Caledonia dominates
Caledonia has the number one PP AND PK. If Caledonia does loss any games the rest of the way people will say it's a upset. But they have to stay out of the box that's there down fall. But right now i don't see them losing a 7 game series in the playoffs. Without changes to other teams like St Carth...

St Catharines have added long time coach Chris Johnstone as an assistant. It's a good move but, I wonder is Frank is on the hot seat. Maybe he's thinking about just being G.M. I can't see him staying as an assistant. Something is up in St.Catharines. Easy there folks...Girhiny just wants to see his...

A couple of let down games at the beginning of the week and a solid win tonight against Ancaster. Do not forget they have three wins against Thorold and they have beat Fort Erie this season too. Re: St Catharines I See Changes
Falcons need to get motivated for the 'lesser' teams. They are the ones that cause them grief. Falcons thumped Ancaster tonight, which has got to be frustrating. Beat Caledonia once, Ancaster twice...then go lose twice to Fort Erie and once to Thorold. Not acceptable, and you're right, without a bon...

On a side note- I see Vuic was assessed a slashing major tonight. This kid looks like a loose cannon. Re: Golden Horseshoe Scoring leaders
Seeing as you mentioned welland! It is remarkable what they have achieved without a true goal scorer! Don't believe they have had one in the top 25 in years. It's amazing what you can get out of a team of workhorses! Many would sacrifice that 'one player' who scores a ton, to have 20 players who go...

I don't know if that was sarcasm, so I'll assume it was. It is amazing though in my opinion. You'd think St.Catharines, Ancaster, Welland, or even Niagara Falls would at least have one player up there. Not sarcasm at all. It says a lot about the horseshoe, especially Caledonia. But no surprise at a...

I'm talking before Kelly, when Hubbert coached. Ok, I'm old. Memory doesn't work as well. I don't know what Hubbert was able to make out of his teams back then. This team should be able to win a playoff round with the work ethic they have. Winning the 2nd round won't even be out of the question. I think for them to win a series, they need to move up in the rankings a little more, to force a series against Welland or Niagara. They continue to be a pain in t...
