Re: Jack Kilgour

Kilgour has been used primarily as a right winger on the second line with Dan Chapman at centre and Mark MacAulay at left. A big loss indeed.

Re: Deadline

Verboom is the one name I keep hearing bouncing around here. Remember teams can only have a maximum of 23 players on thier roster at any one time. All must be on cards. If you have 23 players on cards, someone would have to go to make room for another player - and of course, you would need a blank c...

Re: Rockets add forward from Cobourg

Well it is quite obvious why the Rockets added another player to their roster. They were only carrying 20 players. They had no extra bodies. They were always short or had to use call-ups when someone was out of the line-up. This gives them 1 extra forward. They could use another defenseman as well. ...

John Warren Unhappy?

Rumours flying around that John Warren wants out of St. Thomas. He did not dress last night against London. I've heard Leamington as a possible destination. Anyone else hear anything?

Asst. GM Scores Goal

They did change it but for a while the summary read:

SCORING SUMMARY
Period 1
Chatham - Brayden Hopkins (Steven Beenackers) 0:32
Chatham - Bill Cumming (Michael Verboom) 1:26

Good job Bill adding a little more scoring punch to the Maroon's attack in St. Marys!

ROCKET CAPTAIN TYLER DUARTE NOW A FLYER

From the Rockets' facebook page: The Strathroy Rockets continue to shake up their line-up and tonight in St. Thomas they will be without their Captain of 3 years as they dealt Tyler Duarte to the Leamington Flyers this week. Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed as of yet but GM Dan Gibson did te...

Re: Davis Boyer

For those who are confused about records, we have in essence two record books. We have the GOJHL record book which are team and individual records set since the formation of the GOJHL which Boyer is now a part of. We also have an all-time record book which includes all the previous leagues that the ...

Scott sent the answers to me as well. Since I'm back from St. Kitts, here is what Scott has to say: Here are the answer(s): The longest modern (proven) record is that of the Western Jr. B Chatham Maroons (1999/2000) who went 25 consecutive games without a defeat from Sept. 10, 1999 to Nov. 19, 1999....

Re: Maroons rumor

And it certainly seems that the Maroons would like to sign another goaltender, so they would have to leave one card open for him. However, a team can trade for cards. Don't know if the OHA would allow Chatham to do that.

Re: Changes brewing in Rocketland??

Cam Crowder was an assistant in LaSalle. I believe the reference here is former Rocket head coach Dale Timmermans now with the Exeter Hawks. I too have heard of some Rockets wanting to play C with Dale in Exeter next season. Strathroy may have a lot of holes to fill come training camp time.
