Re: Chatham Maroons cut ties with Mark Davis

The Chatham Maroons parted ways Tuesday with head coach Mark Davis and assistant coach Shawn Tiffin. Team officials were tightlipped about the departures of Davis and Tiffin, who were in their second season with the Maroons. “No one will have a comment tonight,” co-owner Karen Szekesy said. “We'll h...

Re: Chatham Maroons cut ties with Mark Davis

Same reason I heard, after everything that went on over the last year and a half how dumb can Davis be, if its true I hope he ends up with the suspension, all the money he has cost the maroons in fines already, this must of been the final straw.

Re: Thoughts on Chatham

Chatham would be crazy to keep Lucier, if they do have Patterson and he got hurt, pretty sure they would rather have bessette then Lucier. Lucier will probably end up in C somewhere.

If leamington gets Warren and Chatham gets Patterson I think that puts the Flyers and maroons above the rest at this point.

The Rockets improve to 8-2 in there last 10 to move into 4th spot, the vipers have lost 5 of 6 and 9 of there last 13, the vipers had only 13 skaters the other night in St Thomas, and with a very tough schedule the next couple weeks including Strathroy, Sarnia, Leamington and Chatham they need to ge...

Re: 2 Lincs Looking for a New Home?

look at Leamington, before the new ownership and Piroski and staff no one wanted to go to Leamington, kids would play C hockey before going there, now there contenders each season. and your right Port Chatham finished last place and then finished First place the next season a couple years back.

well said, makes no sense to play battisti against Leamington when Billings has played so well, he should be the number 1 in lasalle, the kid can steal a game for them at any time.

Re: It's a new season

I think the goalie they got with Bo Bessette is who he meant not sure, Chatham needs to make a change, ive heard from a couple sources in the room that the players are not happy with Davis. With that much talent they should be winning more then they are.

Re: Records

yes sarnia is off to a great start, but doesn't matter how you start, its how you finish, the Lasalle Vipers started last season 14-0-1 if everyone remembers correctly, and then got swept in round 2 and didn't even finish first place. still lots of hockey to be played.
