Welland did not go with the Inc so nobody will be paying the unnecessary 750 a player fee.

Re: GOJHL AGM Today
Word is around 60 t0 65 % of the GOJHL have signed up and paid their 50% of league fees($3700) to the GOJHL.Inc. We will all know tomorrow who these teams are when the GOJHL.Inc announces their 2018/2019 schedule. Thats when you'll see the s--* hit the fan. Highly doubt a schedule comes out tomorrow

Well that is one way to send a message by Caledonia. 6-0 win in game 1. Sure St Catharines had some guys out but thats not the Corvairs fault. We will see if the Falcons can bounce back

Re: WHICH TEAMS SHOULD QUALIFY FOR THE PLAYOFFS?
Fifth place St. Thomas has upset second place Leamington to earn a spot in the West finals vs London - however the Stars did have a winning record in the regular season. Eight GOJHL teams qualified for the post season with regualar season losing records - Thorold, Welland, Pelham, Fort Erie, Brampt...

Re: St.Thomas vs London, finals, predictions
I picked St Thomas to beat Sarnia but not Leamington. I do not think they will be able to take out London but I can see them getting to at least a game 6. Was wrong last round though be nice to see them win.

Re: St.Catharines vs Ancaster thread
I have not been watching much Junior B this year but was able to watch the Ancaster/ St Catherines game last night. Other than Savory's goaltending, I am not sure how the Falcons have won two games. Again other than the goaltending this team seems to have declined quite a bit from the past few year...

Van Loon with 9 seconds left in the 3rd OT ties up the series for Ancaster. For being invisible in the series vs Welland he has come alive so far in this series. Friday night should be another good one.

Cant blame anyone? Why would you allow the other team to want in more in the playoffs?Port hockey1 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 4:41 pm That's surprising. They had a really good season. I don't think you can blame anyone for the first round loss, St.Thomas just wanted those games more.

Welland underrated, and a well coached team, well if nothing else , thats something new. A statement like that tells me you haven't taken in too many Welland games this year. I get what you're saying. That's what I meant by underrated. They looked to have a lot better team on paper. But they just d...

Of course the players do not like Ozzy because hes a tough coach. He does not accept losing and wants the players to be better but when they make the same mistakes over and over and just laugh it off can only do so much. He has been a lot better in recent years from what I have seen at least on the ...

Re: First round playoff predictions
First round of playoffs is going pretty well just as planned in this diviion. Caledonia cruised through in 4. St Kitts should win in 4 as well even though pelham might steal a game depending if there goalie is hot but i doubt it. Welland has put up a fight but i cant see them beating ancaster in a ...
